A post for November

Sydney and JP show the contribution of Papi's coworkers for the "Christmas in a shoe box" project. We donated 8 boxes full of toys for less fortunate children in Belarus.

Papi cuts his very first turkey for Thanksgiving. Yes, I got a cooking recepie from a friend and it turned out to be a delicious turkey. We ate turkey for 4 days =)

Olten, Suiza

El fin de semana pasado Jim tuvo que tomar un curso el sabado por la manana en Berna asi que en la tarde nos quedamos de ver en Olten, una pequena cuidad que esta entre Berna y Zurich. El clima estuvo perfecto para caminar por el centro de la cuidad e ir de compras. Un par de fotos para el album.

To the Kinder Zoo

This year we made it to the Kinder Zoo right before they closed it for the season. This time JP and Sydney not only rode the small train, and the ponies but decided they also needed to ride the elephant... the downturn was that I had to ride with them so here is the video.

Trick or Treat

We celebrated Halloween at an indoor carnival organized by one of our friends. We volunteered to have a couple of games for kids to play so that was different and fun. After playing for more than an hour, the kids participated in a little parade and at the end they went around the building trick or treating until they had their fill. Sydney wanted to be a princess and JP decided he wanted to be the king.... at the end JP was Spiderman and Syd was a ladybug!
