Sea Day

We had watched the second half of the Spain/Germany Worldcup match on TV in the stateroom (Spain won 1-0) the night before. It ended shortly after 10PM, so I was up early and went for a jog on the treadmill while Sandy and the kids slept in. When I came back to the room, the family was still sleeping so I went up to the Garden CafĂ© for a cup of coffee and to do so some blogging. When I ran out of battery, I came back and the family was up and ready for breakfast. We had a nice meal in the Pacific Heights restaurant and saw our friends the McDonalds towards the end. We agreed to meet at the pool for some swimming. It was a bit cool and breezy on the bridge, so we stayed mostly in the hot tub. There was a design your own cup cake activity, followed by a cup cake eating competition in the kids corner, so we concluded the swimming and signed the kids into the kids corner, their favorite place. Sandy and I had an early lunch. Afterwards, I attended a lecture on the history of art while Sandy read a book. At 3.30, there was a family activity in Pacific Heights – make your own pizza. So at about 3.15, we got the kids and headed for Pacific Heights to make our first family pizza.

Sea Day
Friday was our last sea day. It was perfectly uneventful.
